The Challenge

Greenhill Park is well on the way to becoming Hamilton’s most sought-after address now a well-established, thriving community, with Stages 1-15 of the subdivision already completed. With over 1,800 lots planned, and several hundred new homes already completed, Greenhill Park offers the chance to build your ideal new home in an attractive and convenient location. Spread out over a massive 136 hectares of freehold farmland, Greenhill Park is the only medium-density development of scale in Hamilton. The entire suburb has been purposefully designed as a fully functioning neighbourhood, with excellent amenities and plenty of green space for its residents to enjoy.

The project entails soils testing, earthworks control, and design of public infrastructures (pedestrian bridges and walls).

The project is one of the largest land developments in Hamilton and will span over 15‐20 years.

The Process

CORE50 provided preliminary ground investigation and reporting, earthworks supervision, design advice, subdivision level certification, and structural design of subdivision building elements – pedestrian bridges and retaining walls.

We utilised our site testing capability, including NDM testing for earthworks controls, machine and hand augers for both investigation and certification purposes, and general site observations. We used external labs for confirmation testing to assist in confirming onsite testing.

Fieldwork was carried out by our Earthworks and Testing Technicians, and Site Engineers inspected different aspects of the site to ensure suitable ground for future building works. The team at CORE5O are proud to be providing support for both geotechnical engineering queries and structural designs at Greenhill Park since 2017.

The Results
